Licences & Data Attribution

Everything the Planning Constraints Checker renders is derived from public-sector open data, published by UK government bodies. This page lists every upstream source, the licence it’s distributed under, and the exact attribution we provide back.

Summary

All underlying data is made available under the Open Government Licence v3.0, which permits use (including commercial use) provided the source is attributed. Results shown by this tool are advisory — for any regulated decision you must verify with the relevant local planning authority or data publisher.
